Finally, the pandemic that froze our lives for more than 2 years is over in 2022, so I'm back to my pre-pandemic travel pace! As every year, I prepared my list of places I visited in 2022. This year has been a year in which I had the opportunity to travel a lot in and out of Turkey and experienced different forms of travel. Example; I went to different cities in Turkey to participate in the races. Years later, I traveled by cruise again. I've been to 5 different countries except Turkey, since they're all countries I've been to before, I don't have a new country this year. Summary of the Year 2022
“What a year!” Another one of those deserving years. I stopped doing many things I used to do before the pandemic. One of them was to make a long-term plan. Normally, I would make my travel plans, buy my tickets and make my reservations months in advance. In 2022, I always made short-term plans for a few weeks at the most. Even though I didn't plan, the universe made plans for me. The Turkic Republics route, which has been on my mind for years, fit both countries into this year. The routes of Kyrgyzstan in July and Kazakhstan in October were the surprises of this year for me.
If I were to summarize the year 2022 in terms of my travels;
- Throughout the year, I have spent 36 days traveling in 104 destinations in Turkey and abroad. This period, which was 2020 days in 48 and 2021 days in 79, entered an increasing trend with the end of the pandemic.
- 104 days; He spent 9 days in explorations in Istanbul, 28 days in foreign explorations, and 68 days in explorations within Turkey.
- My longest trip at one time in 2022; I had a little over 2 weeks trip starting from Van and continuing to Iran.

With the rise of reels videos on Instagram in 2022, my Instagram account also gained a great momentum. After a few videos of me reaching over a million views, my follower count exceeded 100.000 at the end of August. I would like to thank everyone who followed, supported with comments and likes.

If you ask me what is my least working area in 2022, I would say my Youtube channel without a doubt. This year, I decided not to spend my energy on Youtube as it started to become very difficult to produce content for Youtube while traveling, producing content for blogs and social media. I may regret it in the coming years, but right now I had to accept my own truth. I'm pressuring my husband to work with me, if he gives support, maybe Youtube will make a comeback for sure, who knows?
This year, I uploaded only 18 videos to the channel, including Shorts, the new format of Youtube.
