Van Governor's Office: “Train services, which were suspended for security reasons, will be restarted on 18 June 2018 at 23.30, departing from Tabriz. The first flight of the same train with a capacity of 240 passengers from Van to Iran will take place on Tuesday, 19 June 2018, at 21.00. On the other hand, after the demolition of the old and inadequate station building at the Kapıköy Border Gate, the construction of a more functional and new station building, which is planned to be completed by the end of 2018, has started.

Van Tabriz Train Departure Days and Time

According to the statement made by the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication Ahmet Arslan; The first flights will start from Tabriz on 18 June and from Van on 19 June. Trains will depart from Tabriz every Monday and Van every Tuesday. Train operation on the Tabriz-Van line will be carried out with a total of 4 couchette cars. The train with a capacity of 240 people will reach Van from Tabriz in 8 hours.

What will be the Van-Tabriz Train Ticket Fee?

According to the first statements, the ticket price will be 10,8 euros. Train tickets are not currently on sale on TCDD's website, so tickets can be purchased from ticket sales points.
