Vietnam One of the biggest question marks about vietnam visa. You can come across many articles on blogs about Vietnam, which normally gives visas at the door, causing problems for the Turks. We had similar concerns when we were planning to go to Vietnam. How to get a Vietnam visa, is it as difficult as it is thought to get a Vietnam visa, how did we get the answers to the questions in this article.

Getting an Invitation Letter for a Vietnam Visa

You can get a Vietnam visa for a single entry, covering your travel time, for 25 USD at the door and a photo, but you need an invitation to get a Vietnam visa so easily.

Although there are many speculations as to why it happened, we preferred the method of getting an invitation from an agency in Vietnam to secure our job due to the approach to Turkish Citizens for which we do not know the exact reason.

Agent information for Vietnam Invitation

We received the invitation from Focus Travel. You can contact this agency at inbound [at] focusvietnam.com. The card below also contains more contact information. You can also reach them at focusvietnam.com.

When Receiving Invitation Letter from Agency for Vietnam Visa

The agency asks you to send a scanned version of the photo page of your passport, hotel reservation and flight tickets via e-mail. Then you send a link, you can pay from the link sent with your credit card. The agency charges a service fee of 60usd per person. Yes, it is quite costly, but it is a price you have to bear to avoid problems while entering the country.

After you make your payment, you will receive your invitation letter within 4-5 business days. Now it's time to get the visa at the door!

Entry to Vietnam, Vietnam Visa at the Door

We entered Vietnam from Hanoi. Therefore, the experience you will read below describes the process of obtaining a visa from Hanoi airport.

There is no signpost at the entrance to Vietnam, you will easily see the place where it says Visa Application after you get off the plane. You go and give your passport, 1 passport photo and your invitation letter and you start waiting. There will be many foreigners waiting like you.

There is a TV screen right next to where you apply for a visa. When you see your name and photo on the screen, you pay 25usd per person and get your passport with a visa printed on it.

Vee now you can start exploring Vietnam 🙂

Let me underline that this experience is valid for burgundy passports.

Entry to Vietnam for Green Passport Holders

Our friends with green passports with whom we were traveling passed the gate without a visa, but they took the printouts of the official information about the green passport application with them, because normally Vietnamese passport officers do not have a good grasp of passport applications in our country. We should not expect them to be, it is not a country with which we have very close relations. Most of the Vietnamese we spoke to had met someone from Turkey for the first time, and some even heard the name of this country for the first time.

"Does he who reads a lot or travels a lot?" I started by saying, I am still looking for an answer. I travel after my dreams and share my experiences on my blog, newspapers and magazines. I love to travel, read, write and dream.

  1. Hello, I was very confused when I went to Vietnam last year, I even thought of giving up when I read the articles about the difficulty of visa. but it is really easy to get a visa with a c1 document. who is the representative of a local company there in turkey http://www.vietnamavize.com I solved it via they just delivered my passport information and my confirmation letter within 1 week. I paid $100 for it and the gate fee was $25. The procedures at the airport took only 10 minutes and I entered the country easily.

  2. It's one of the most common questions I get. Thank you, Sevil, for your clear explanations to a serious problem.

It was a very informative article, thank you very much.. We also eliminated Vietnam just because of this fear during our Asian vacation last month, but I think it will be the first place I want to go at the first opportunity ☺️
