I started to make a travel plan for the month of July 2018 that includes Eastern Black Sea, Georgia and Armenia. At the beginning of my work on this trip, I first started by determining the visas I needed. Georgia does not ask us for a visa or even a passport. Armenia, on the other hand, requires a visa from us. Armenia visa I wanted to convey to you the information I learned such as how to buy and where to buy.

Armenia Visa

Unfortunately, one of the important points when planning a trip abroad is visas. While some countries' visa applications are very easy, others are quite challenging for us. I try to share my experiences on visa applications in the countries I visit as much as I can. come on now Armenia visa Let's take a look at the app.

Armenia Online Visa Application

One of the ways to get an Armenia visa is to get an Armenia visa online. Armenia online visa application You can easily make your visa application by choosing a country and filling out the forms that follow, and you can make your visa payment by credit card. For online application; Since you will enter your photo, hotel reservation, transportation and passport information, it is useful to keep them ready.

A confirmation message and a visa file that you can download to your computer will be sent to your e-mail address within 2 business days of your online application. You can go to the border by printing this out.

Armenia Visa Application at the Door

As Turkish citizens, we do not have the opportunity to directly enter Armenia by land. Therefore, it is possible to enter by land via Iran or Georgia. When you go to these border gates, you can enter by filling out a visa application form and paying the visa fee. If you want a photo for an online visa, Armenia does not require a photo for a visa at the door.

Ben Highway from Tbilisi to Armenia I chose to go with When I arrived at the border gate, there was no one in charge of the section that says "Visa". When I said that there was no one in the visa department from the police at the passport control, they called and called their colleagues. After waiting for 10 minutes, the visa officer came. When I said that I came from Turkey and that I would get a visa, the officer helped me very kindly. He even guided me by saying “signature” in Turkish to the places I needed to sign.

At the passport pass, the passport officer asked where I would go, how long I would stay, what I came for and where I would stay. He carefully studied all the pages in my passport. So I crossed the border easily, without any negativity.

Armenia Visa Fee 2018

Considering that my blog post was written in June 2018, do not forget to take into account that there may be changes in the visa fee!

Armenia visa fee for 2018; 30usd when you get a visa with online application, if you get a visa at the door; You will need to pay in Armenian Dram (AMD). You will need to pay 21AMD (approximately 3000-6usd) for a visa up to 7 days, and 120usd for a visa up to 31 days.

You can also pay the visa fee with a credit card. There is also an ATM right next to the visa section, if you want to pay cash, you can withdraw money from there.

The essence of the matter is that if you are going to stay in the country for up to 21 days, it is much more logical to get a visa at the door.

Stay on track.

"Does he who reads a lot or travels a lot?" I started by saying, I am still looking for an answer. I travel after my dreams and share my experiences on my blog, newspapers and magazines. I love to travel, read, write and dream.

  1. I'm very curious about Irvan and I have many relatives there but I don't know any of them, I want to go and travel

      • Hello,

I'm writing for a fix. Green passport holders cannot enter Armenia. Bordeaux passport holders can stay in Armenia for 10 days for 21 dollars. A photograph is not required for a visa. They stick visa paper on the passport page, just like Schengen. I can answer any of your questions about Armenia.

        Best regards.

  2. Last month (August 2018), I entered Armenia via Iran by obtaining a visa at the gate. I did not prefer online visa because it is more expensive and requires more documents.
It is possible to get a visa within five to ten minutes at the door. The clerk spoke fluent English.
They ask why you came, which hotel you will stay in, which countries you have visited before, etc. (I entered Azerbaijani, I said this too. Be as open as possible, don't try to hide something)
It is useful to carry your hotel reservation on your phone or on a piece of paper.
The attendant at the door took 3.000 dollars from me, not 10 drams (I didn't have dram with me, in fact, it was possible to get affordable drams in Iran. I hurried while passing through the Iranian border in case the bus would drop me off because the procedures would take long.)
No photograph or extra document was requested from me other than a passport. There was no photograph on the visa anyway.

  3. If you go to Yerevan without making a hotel reservation, make sure to bargain at the hotel, they offer discounts.
You can withdraw money from ATMs with your card with the visa logo.
There is a market in the city center, I forgot the name, the sellers are usually old ladies and most of them speak Turkish because they worked illegally in Turkey before.
Taxis are not luxury but nice, they are a little gimmicky :)
Finally, Armenians are not used to seeing Turks in their own country. They are surprised when I say I am Turkish :)))
