Israil The most frequently asked question to me on my return from the trip: “Is it easy to enter Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem?” it happened. Entrance to Masjid al-Aqsa Before giving information about the subject, let me give a brief information about the old city center of Jerusalem.
Briefly About Jerusalem
The following Kudüs The walled area you see on the map is the old city center of Jerusalem. The Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Armenian regions are segregated within themselves. Right next to the Muslim quarter, Mount Moriah – The large area seen as the Temple Mount or Harem ul Sharif is a sacred area for both Muslims and Jews, including the Masjid al-Aqsa.
Entrance to Masjid al-Aqsa
Non-Muslims are currently not allowed to enter the Harem ul Sharif. All roads leading to this area are blocked by the police. You must pass inspection. And when you enter the main area, you are required to prove that you are a Muslim.
When we told them we came from Turkey, they treated us very well. Because, in the eyes of the Muslims in Jerusalem, Turkey is the only country in the world that protects them. But this love does not prevent us from being put to the test. I had already covered my head as I approached the entrance area. Since the first name of one of my friends was Mehmet, he also started with a plus. They immediately asked for our identity cards. They learned the area where the religion section is located in their Turkish identity cards. It was not a problem when I saw that he wrote "Islam". But our third friend did not have his identity card with him, they asked him to bring peace and remove the earrings (male) from his ears. Inside, at the entrance of the Dome of the Rock, we had to take a small exam again, but coming from Turkey made our job easier there as well. We were able to walk comfortably in both the Dome of the Rock and the Masjid al-Aqsa.
Even though I panicked a little at first when I saw Özgür taking pictures with Palestinian uncles, I was relieved when I learned that they were sympathetic to Turkey and that they wanted to host us 🙂
The continuation notes of the trip will continue to come piece by piece 🙂 I packed a lot into two days 🙂

How many Turkish liras did it cost in total?
Let Sevil come in other parts, as soon as possible 🙂 we are looking forward to the rest of the article. For example, do they cause difficulties in cicada vs.?
There are no special difficulties for us, Yalçın.
But they are looking for everyone at the exit, so it is necessary to go to the airport 3 hours before the flight.
Thank you so much.
