Chile is one of the first countries to recognize the Republic of Turkey. They also built a monument to show their respect to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who founded the Turkish Republic. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit this monument during my trip to South America.
Message Written on the Monument to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Santiago
The Spanish inscription on the monument reads:
"Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, the devoted and devoted servant of his homeland, the unique hero and the living symbol of the ideal of humanity. He devoted his whole life to the Turkish Nation and inspired his people with the fire of his soul. His memory, like an unquenchable fire, will live on forever, giving strength to his people.”
I got goosebumps when I read the meaning of the message. If only we could understand the value of our founder and leader as much as they do...
