Morocco Tour Program Details
Our Morocco tour will start from Casablanca and continue in order with Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Chefchaoen, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Marrakech, Essaouira. On the last day we will return to Casablanca and end our tour there.
Morocco Tour Day 1: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes
Our trip to Morocco starts on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Casablanca. We see Hasan II Mosque and continue to Rabat. After a lunch break and a city tour in Rabat, we stop by Meknes on the way. We arrive in Fes, where we will stay for the first night. Our accommodation will be at Volibilis Hotel.
Morocco Tour Day 2: Fes
We dedicate our day to Fes. Fes is literally a labyrinth. We get lost in the labyrinth city and see the famous bazaar with its leather tanneries. We will have enough time to explore Fes. Our stay will be again at Volibilis Hotel in Fes.
Morocco Tour Day 3: Shaffafan
After having breakfast at the hotel, we set out to go to the blue city of Şafşafan. We spend the day getting lost in the streets of the blue city. Our accommodation will be at an Atlas or equivalent hotel in Şafşafan.
Morocco Tour Day 4: Medilt
On the fourth day, our journey will continue towards the desert. Our goal is to reach Medilt. Our evening stay will be at Kasbah Asma or an equivalent hotel.
Morocco Tour Day 5: Merzouga
Our destination point for the fifth day is Merzouga, this is the starting point of our journey to the Sahara Desert. Deserts are one of the places that impress me the most in the world. I am sure it will be an amazing experience. After a camel ride in the dunes, our accommodation will be at Kasbah Tombouctou, our tent camp right at the foot of the golden dunes. Yes, you read it right, we will stay in a tent in the desert!
Morocco Tour Day 6: Varzazat (Ouarzazate)
Varzazat, where many desert-themed films were shot, is our sixth day stop. But before we reach Varzazat, we pass through Tinghir, Rose Valley and Dades Valley and reach Varzazat. Our accommodation is in the Oscar Hotel, and the movie studios right next to it will also attract your attention.
Morocco Tour Day 7: Marrakech
On the seventh day we will depart from Varzazat towards Marrakech. On the way we will stop by the abandoned village of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most interesting places in Morocco.
We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening. Welcome to Morocco's most colorful and vibrant city. Our accommodation will be at the Mogador Kasbah Hotel or a similar hotel. In the evening, the chaos in the Doomsday Square is worth seeing.
Morocco Tour Day 8: Marrakech-Essaouira (Suvayr)
The eighth day is the day to enjoy Marrakech. Marrakech's souk market is worth spending hours on. In the evening, we pass to Essaouira. Our accommodation will be at the LE Pearle de Mogador Hotel or a similar class hotel.
The ancient name of the city of Suvayr on the ocean coast was Mogador. The city has been inhabited since prehistoric times and the city center is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Morocco Tour Day 9: Return
After breakfast, we set off for Casablanca for our return. As every good thing has an end, this is the end of our trip 🙁 See you on the next trip!
Morocco Tour Price
There will be no extra tour fees on the Morocco tour. Accommodation will be in double rooms with breakfast and dinner included.
