I haven't been able to get far from Istanbul lately, I want to tell you about Istanbul while it is ready. When I talk about Istanbul, I talk about my favorites… Beyoğlu is the first thing that comes to mind when I say Istanbul. The little tours I take on Istiklal Street always rest my soul. When it comes to the end of the street, “Have we come to the end?” I call myself. In fact, we have not come to the end. When you come to the end of Istiklal Street, Tünel will appear in front of you. You can either skip down to Karaköy or continue on the street before you come to Tünel and the road will take you to the Galata Tower. Galata tower There are many places to explore in and around, but the priority is Galata Tower. In this article, I want to tell you a little bit about the tower.

When you continue on that street, you will be accompanied by narrow cobblestone pavements left and right, first music shops and then souvenir shops. That road takes you to a small square. That square is Galata Square. The tower that reaches to the sky in the middle of the square is the famous Galata Tower.

You can take a break at the cafes and restaurants surrounding the square, and relax by watching the Galata Tower in the small square coffee house a little further on. This coffee is the most economical place in this area. You can spend your meal with tea and toast.

If you say "I want to go to the right tower without resting", go around the square and find the entrance gate of the tower. You can easily find the entrance by following the tourists walking around with a city guide. Go by looking at the sidewalks in the square, and you may encounter a lizard embossed on the sidewalk.

As the tower is open to touristic visits, there is also a restaurant at the top of the tower. In the past, there used to be entertainment with belly dancers in this restaurant, it attracted a lot of attention especially from foreign tourists. Now only cafeteria without alcohol. You can climb the tower and watch the panoramic view of Istanbul. Lately, there are always long lines at the tower exit. Therefore, I recommend going early in the morning, so you will have less queues.

Galata Tower is often referred to as Hezerfen Ahmet Çelebi. The tower, built in the 14th century, is famous for the famous jump of Hezerfen in the 17th century.

Climbing the Galata Tower, Hezerfen left himself towards the Bosphorus with his wings and reached the Üsküdar ridge. When you climbed the tower, the sculptures on the wall told you about that, but you can't use the stairs to get out anymore, there is only an elevator and an exit.

When you get to the top of the tower, first a small dizziness is due to the height, and the next dizziness is due to the beauty of the view of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. The view of the tower from above is beautiful, as is the tower itself. Do not be surprised if you become Hazerfen and get on your plane while wandering around the tower.

There is also a tiny legend about the Galata Tower: You would marry whoever you went up to the Galata Tower. The funny thing is, when my wife and I just started dating, we went up to the tower together. I don't know if it's from the legend or because it's already happening.

Do not forget to get off the tower and take a trip to the past in the side streets. I wanted to write this article when I met those who live in Istanbul but say they have never been to Galata. Experiencing Istanbul's chaos and noise is not just experiencing Istanbul... Don't forget to enjoy the beauties of Istanbul!

Stay on track.
