The building where Nevmekan Kuzguncuk is located is the İcadiye Mountain Bath, which has a history of 170 years. The bath was built in 1854 by Sheikh al-Islam Arif Hikmet Bey to generate income for his library in Medina. The building, which was used as a bath from the 1800s to the 2000s, was repaired twice in 1905 and 1970. The bath, which became completely idle in the 2000s, will be taken under the auspices of Üsküdar Municipality and its restoration will begin in 2021.
