About Nevmekan Kuzguncuk
Üsküdar Municipality reopens historical buildings to public use within the scope of Economic and Social Facilities. The opened spaces have different features such as libraries, cafes, museums, event and exhibition areas. If we look at the places in the Nevmekan series; Nevmekân Sahil, Nevmekân Bağlarbaşı, Nevmekân Selimiye, Nevmekân Kandilli and finally Nevmekân Kuzguncuk, which opened in September 2023, were added to the list.
The building where Nevmekan Kuzguncuk is located is the İcadiye Mountain Bath, which has a history of 170 years. The bath was built in 1854 by Sheikh al-Islam Arif Hikmet Bey to generate income for his library in Medina. The building, which was used as a bath from the 1800s to the 2000s, was repaired twice in 1905 and 1970. The bath, which became completely idle in the 2000s, will be taken under the auspices of Üsküdar Municipality and its restoration will begin in 2021.
Located within the borders of İcadiye District, the venue is spread over an area of 1200 square meters. The venue has a large garden, a cafe, a library, an area for students to study, and a bath museum on the ground floor.

It is very easy to reach Nevmekan Kuzguncuk. All buses and minibuses departing from Üsküdar and heading north using the coastal road pass through the Kuzguncuk coast. Walking from the beach to the venue takes at most 15 minutes.
If you are coming to Kuzguncuk with your own car, I recommend you to take into consideration that there is a parking problem, the venue does not have its own parking lot and traffic is congested, especially on weekends.
