Phrygia Trip Program You Can't Find Anywhere

Travel Date: 13 October-16 October 2018 (3 nights 4 days)
Phrygia Trip 1st Day Program
We will depart from Istanbul on the night connecting October 12 to October 13. Our goal is to reach Afyon, one of the most important cities of Phrygia, in the morning. We will visit the settlements, places of worship and Fairy Chimneys in and around the Ayazini Metropolis and fill our stomachs with local pastries at Şefika Aunt's place for lunch.
In case we have a little road fatigue on the first day, we will first have a 2 km walking track. We will walk in nature and history in Avdalaz Valley and we will finish our route with Avdalaz Castle.
Our next stop is Göynüş Valley. This is one of my favorite routes in the Phrygian Valleys. From here, we will have a 3 km walking route to Emre Lake. We will do the sunset at Emre Lake.
Our accommodation will be in the village houses in Ayazini Village.
Phrygia Trip 2st Day Program
We will start the day with the village breakfast so that we can gather our energy. We will have a 5 km walking route through the forest from Sarıcaova Village. At the end of the walk, we will have a light lunch with our food.
Our route after dinner is Urumkuş Highland. We spend a full day with fairy chimneys, castles and rock settlements and return to our village.
After having our dinner in village houses, feeling the culture of the place with the hosts, we gather by the fire.
Phrygia Trip 3st Day Program
After breakfast in the village houses, we go to another very exciting place: Yazılıkaya Region. After visiting Gerdekkaya and its surroundings in the morning and having lunch with local pastry at Değirmen Kafe, we will go to the area where the Midas Monument, which is perhaps the first image that comes to mind when you think of Phrygia. We will take a pleasant tour of Yazılıkaya and its surroundings. Make sure your cameras are fully charged.
Our 3rd day stay is in Gazlıgöl, the hot springs region of Afyon. Gazligol Cinar Thermal Hotel'We will stay too. We will have time for those who want to take advantage of the hotel's large pool and spa services.
Phrygia Trip 4st Day Program
After breakfast at the hotel, we go to Sarıcaova Village. From here, we will reach Gökbahçe Village with a 12 km walk. We will have food with us for lunch. After our walk, we will return to the hotel for those who want to take a shower.
Our return journey will start in the afternoon, we will be in Istanbul in the evening.

Participants who want to come from outside of Istanbul have to figure out their transportation and pay the full price.
Services Included in the Price:
- Accommodation in double or triple rooms for 3 nights in village houses and Çınar Hotel is included in the price.
- 4 lunches, 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts are included in the price.
- All transportation in the Istanbul-Afyon and Phrygian Valleys will be by air-conditioned vehicle for 15 people.
- Guidance in the Phrygian Valleys for 4 days is included in the price.
Services Not Included in the Price:
- Museum entrance fees are included in the price. Museum card holders can enter museums free of charge.
- Spa/massage/pool service in the thermal hotel is not included in the price, but will be paid to the hotel as an extra.
- Saturday morning breakfast and Tuesday dinner are not included in the price.
- Beverages with meals are not included in the price.
Tips for a Phrygian Trip
Since we will make our trip in October, the weather will start to get cold in the Phrygian Valleys, it would be great to take a raincoat, a thick fleece or even a shawl to avoid getting cold by the fire at night.
Since we will be in nature a lot during our trip, I recommend that you bring sports shoes suitable for trekking, preferably high-heeled sports shoes and clothes that will make you comfortable while walking.

It was a great trip. I can go anywhere with Sevil. Also, the other friends who participated in the trip were very good. I am also happy to meet them.
It was a wonderful four days in a beautiful geography, on routes that are not often traveled, getting a little tired and with beautiful people. I hope I have the chance to be together again on other trips.
