He leads the first archaeological studies in the Ottoman Empire by personally participating. The statues found on Mount Nemrut are the first of Osman Hamdi's archaeological studies in Anatolia. The language of the book is very good, it tells a biography without boring and gives the emotions in it very well. The book is not very thick, it is a book to be read at once, I could not put it down. While reading The Tortoise Trainer, I couldn't hold back my tears at some points, for several reasons. 1) Osman Hamdi's struggle and perseverance 2) Even at the end of the 1800s, when there was someone who had spent so much effort on art and history, I was sad because we couldn't continue with these steps. I haven't read the author's other books, but I have them on my reading list.
