I think Özcan and İsmail redrawn their lives after the journey they left and returned together. While İsmail started to live in Japan, Özcan wrote a book about his 13-month journey. The last time I saw "Something Else” was a bestseller at D&R.

Traveling with the same person for 13 months is another matter. If you have your mother, father, brother, it would be unbearable for so long. Indeed, their fights, interrogations, differences of opinion, and sometimes even physical separations and reunions are described in a very natural language in the book.

It's something I'm always biased towards. I say that a person does not miss his family etc. for all that time (13 months), but I think it is perfect to understand the value of many people, food and place.
There is always longing, but I guess it's a consolation to be back eventually.
I bought the book and when I reviewed it, it was thought that it was not very expensive. Considering that even the most lousy print books cost 2 liras for their second hand, I think this book keeps its value.

The print quality of the book (must be because it has lots of photos) is very high and it is quite a thick book.
I'm sure you have a lot of unnecessary expenses. That price can be paid to save on them and support a traveller.
