The Delikkemer waterway was used to transfer the water from the İncebel Hill to the Palamuttepe slopes through the stones on the arch with a slight bend. They are designed as male and female so that the cubic and hole-in-the-middle stones that make up the arch are tightly attached to each other. Thanks to the male-female structure, the destroyed stones could be easily removed or the water passing through the pipes could be ventilated. In order to prevent water leakage from the arch, the gaps between them were closed with mortar.
