You can find thousands of options to eat Khachapuri in Batumi. The first place I tried was a restaurant called Lurji Sufra on the street of my hostel. They also recommended Mamaparuri next to Lurji Sufra.

Khinkal – Khingali

khinkalYou can see the fist-sized ravioli as Khingali on the menus. All kinds of meat and vegetables… The one you see in the photo below is held by the handle, bitten from the top, first the water is drunk and then eaten by biting. They make it without any seasoning, it is very delicious when you add black pepper.

Another suggestion for eating traditional dishes would be Shemoikhede Batumi Restaurant. I came here with the recommendation of the first Löplöpçüler. It was quite difficult to find it because the sign outside is in Georgian, but on my next visit, I found it as if I had put it by hand.

Drinks

Colorful sodas made from pear juice and different fruit juices you can think of, and magnificent wines are the flavors you must try in Georgia. If you like beer, Georgian beers are also delicious and very cheap in our opinion.

There is also Çaça, which we can call Georgian vodka. If I say try it, I can't, if I say don't try it. Sprat is a drink with a very high alcohol content, even if you drink it, be careful, it does not stay as it is in the bottle.

Borjomi soda is produced in Georgia, you can find and taste it all over the country.

Breakfast in Batumi

There is not much breakfast culture in Batumi. Khachapuri is usually eaten for breakfast. If you want to eat something like breakfast, I found a German restaurant, it's called Munich Restaurant. It has a very nice decoration inside, it's a real German beer house. A place where you can find omelette and coffee for breakfast.
