The shores of Lake Iznik have very suitable geographical conditions for canoeing and rare beauties to explore. The reeds around the fisherman's shelter and the reeds around Çakırca Village within the residential area, the fact that the city walls can be watched in the lake, the sunken church discovered in 2014 are actually quite untouched and rare points of this environment. Canoeists coming to Iznik from outside the city will explore these beautiful reeds, which include waterfowl, frogs and harmless water snakes.
