In other words, the costs you will see below were calculated including the cost of each step we took.

The total cost of my 9-day trip, where I traveled to 2,5 countries (Zanzibar semi-autonomous), 3 planes, 1 ferry, and lots of minibuses, including Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar, was $2.287 USD.

I try to give the expenditure figures in dollars (usd) as much as possible so that we are least affected by price changes over the years.

Flight Tickets

I made the trip in September, I bought my plane tickets the previous February. The departure is Istanbul-Kenya (Nairobi), and the return is Tanzania (Dar-es Salaam)-Istanbul. In the meantime, we flew from Nairobi to Zanzibar. We paid 910 USD per person round trip. from Nairobi to Zanzibar We also flew by plane to save time, 197 USD from Kenya AirwaysI bought it. The total flight ticket cost, which is 1107 Usd, is included in the price of all these tickets.

Safari Cost in Kenya

in kenya A 3 night 4 day safari we did. The safari program includes Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Our safari African Breeze Tour You can see the current figures on their website. Safari's airport pickup and drop-off included cost 520 USD it happened. They did not deduct 20 USD 🙁 By the way, the Greek couple we took the same tour gave 450 USD per person, so these are the prices that are piled up. Make sure you bargain very well.

For the transportation item, 40 USD Zanzibar-Darus Salaam ferry, taxi fares and the guided vehicle I rented while touring the island of Zanzibar for the whole day are included. Should I have written it as a tour? Anyway, that's what happened this time.

For a ticket between Zanzibar – Dar-es Salaam, stop by travel agents and ask for tickets while you are wandering around Stone Town in Zanzibar. Interestingly, the flight prices that you expect to be cheaper on the internet can be cheaper when you get them from the agencies, although they take commission.

Visa Costs

Kenya and Tanzania require visas from Turkish citizens. Getting a visa is extremely easy, you get a gate visa at the airport. Visa cost in both countries is 50 Usd. So I paid a total of 100 Usd for entry to Kenya and Tanzania.

“Could the Kenya-Tanzania trip be cheaper?” If you say, of course it could be done. You can push the limits of bargaining, not use a taxi, eat in cheaper places, etc...

      Since I do not know your children's standards, it is not possible for me to comment. In general, I can say that there is no situation that will pose a risk. You can get information about vaccinations from Travel Health Centers. I have never seen/heard of a tour that takes you by plane to the Masai Mara. You can search on the internet.

I will be alone on the trip, but many safari tours that I have looked at online give prices for a minimum of two people, and those who give prices for one person are also quite expensive. My question is; Can I get a chance to join other groups and benefit from group discounts when I go there alone? were you alone?

      The vehicles are for 6-8 people, so they already include you in a group, even if you are 2 people. You can get better prices by writing to companies.
      We were 2 people.

    I paid 3 usd for the 300-day masai mara tour and 4 usd for the 650-day tanzania serengeti, tangiria, ngorongoro tour. The activities that I will do there, including the Kilimanjaro climbing, cost 2030 USD. Others eat, junk, etc. Transportation is one of the biggest items. Getting to and from the airport was the most expensive. I spent 20 to 30 dollars. From now on, I'll go around with less load. Everything becomes more practical.
