I spent 15 days in Mongolia, during which time I went to several different destinations in Khövsgöl and its surroundings in the north of the country, Terkhi Lake and Karakorum in central Mongolia, and the Gobi desert in the south. I watched Nadaam, the most important festival of the country, in Ulanbaatar and visited 2 different National Parks around Ulanbaatar. My friends I talked to before I set off said that my route was too long and I couldn't finish it in 15 days, but thanks to my Mongolian companions, I was able to see everything I wanted to see. lasting 15 days Mongolia trip cost What happened you will find in this article.

Mongolia Trip Cost

lasting 15 days Mongolia travel cost excluding airfare (for my plane tickets Turna.com he supported me) was exactly 1048 usd. We can say that the daily average is 62usd. Moving fast while traveling is always an element that increases your daily cost, but I have no regrets 🙂

  • We traveled with a friend's jeep from Mongolia and I covered all the gas costs. That's why this is my top spending item, gasoline. The biggest item of my spending petrol, total 502usd. Traveling by jeep made us move very fast on very bad roads, so I don't feel sorry for this figure, it saved me a lot of time.
  • The second biggest item is 204 usd. accommodation. Actually, we usually stayed in ger camps, but we even gave some of them 45usd per person per night. It was more expensive than I thought. There was also a problem because they applied a price of 1,5 times to the foreigners than the locals. We only stayed 1 night in our own tent. Since I was very cold there too (my materials were for summer), we preferred the ger camps.
  • The third major item eating and drinking 128usd is 17usd per day divided by 7.5 days, so we can't say it's expensive. : ) Also, in some ger camps, meals are included in the price, so the average meal is slightly lower.

"Does he who reads a lot or travels a lot?" I started by saying, I am still looking for an answer. I travel after my dreams and share my experiences on my blog, newspapers and magazines. I love to travel, read, write and dream.

  5. When it comes to exploring a place like Mongolia, 1048 usd is a pitifully small number, of course, people who do not have travel experience could not get away without spending around 3-4 usd :))
